The Newcastle Hotel is one of the most admired local venues in the nightclubbing scene for the Newcastle area. The brief for this project was to enhance their previous branding and promotion with a creative spark. The Newy project was a hand-drawn dream, where I was asked to create an identity using my own judgment as a fan of the venue, and as a design student. It was my first logo commission, and my first step into industry standard design.

This project is a display of my process, from paper to screen. I often start my projects with pencil or paint, and transfer these into digital.

Over a 6 month period, the new branding for The Newcastle Hotel was made.
